Keratoconus is a progressive degenerative disease of the cornea that, if left untreated, can result in significant vision loss. The KERAPOC project is conducting research and developing an innovative PoC device, enabling rapid and accurate diagnoses and prognoses for the first time.
Dry Eye Syndrome, also known as Dry Eye Disease, is an ophthalmic condition affecting millions of people worldwide. In recent years, its prevalence has steadily increased due to the widespread use of mobile devices, causing significant discomfort to those affected. The KERASOS project is developing a tool to identify different types of Dry Eye and determine the most effective treatments for each.
